Charlie Murphy has established a vibrant, interdisciplinary art practice spanning dynamic sculptural installations, digital media, performance and live events for many arts, science, public health, museum and community contexts.

She is also an experienced and innovative photographer and videographer for a wide range of commercial and educational clientele.

Charlie uses properties of glass, light, sculpture, photography, performance and video to create dramatic sculptural installations, performances and events which explore material questions about our bodies, health & relationships.  Widely known for her popular touring ‘kiss-in’ events, her projects often involve participation and collaboration of some kind.

Collaborations with audiences, scientists & engineers have evolved multiple immersive installations, film screenings and participation events exploring the brain, desire, anatomy and relationships.
