The ‘kiss-in’ is a live kissing-fest with a mission to examine and record every type and shape of kiss both as a sculpture and a digital video portrait.

Friends, lovers and complete strangers kiss for 90 seconds while the dental alginate sets in their mouths, which Charlie then uses to create an amazing series of glass sculptures.

Charlie is the first person in the world to create an installation of over 100 kiss sculptures which will present a unique survey of these amazing hidden expressions of desire.

The ‘kiss-in’ event has toured to a host of national and international venues including the Science Museum (2009), Edinburgh Festival (2006), the Venice Biennale (2005), and various art galleries throughout the UK and Europe.
