| Each kiss is carefully
wrapped, labelled and stored in the fridge at the studio in Shoreditch,
London. It takes several days to transform each kiss into glass. After a cast has been made of the inside of each couple’s kiss, a complex series of positive and negative moulds are made in wax and plaster before the kiss can be fired in a glass kiln. Each kiss becomes a unique lead crystal trophy that will form part of an installation of erotic glass sculpture that will be shown in London in 2007. |
