Charlie Murphy
Charlie Murphy (MA RCA) : Short Biography
Graduating in Fine Art (Photography) from the RCA in 1999,
Charlie Murphy’s work spans an eclectic range of media and subjects
- from live participatory performances, visual art installations,
photography and video works to dentistry, sculpture, cartwheeling
and country dancing.
Her visual art installations and live art include presentations for the
Venice Biennale 2005, the Edinburgh Festival 2006, Tate Modern
2007 and the Big Dance Festival 2008.
Her work has been supported by individual artist grants from ACE and an Artsadmin ‘mid
career’ professional development bursary.
She is an Artist Associate of Artsway Contemporary Art in the New Forest – supported by the Leverhulme Trust. She is based in London.
